Soak in @jonnastor's turn as full on @PatFlynn fan-girl http://t.co/6McU0KrFTd let your audience relate to you

Seems Pat Flynn is quite the people person.
Easily relatable, intuitive, successful, conscientious, and I’ll quit before I fall into my version of super-fan-girl.
The guy gets it.
This applies to Pat but also to Jonny, as he chides me to call him every, single, time we talk.
Let your listeners relate to you.
This is the hard part. Because it requires making yourself vulnerable to your listener.
When a potential customer is at ease with you enough to meltdown the wall of ice between you; step beside them to show you’re on their side. Then never betray that trust.
Whom do you listen to?
Truly LISTEN to?
The few you “relate” to.
Shared experiences include our attached emotion(s), so when you relate to Pat Flynn as his listener finding out Pat was in his High School marching band, you love that a fellow “band geek” is doing his thang.
That connection is not shallow to you.
Do Yourself a favor
Listen to Jonny getting 50 shades of giddy talking to his boy, Pat.
