Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Humane Society in Fitzgerald, Georgia is example 3 of how I plan digital marketing campaigns

November 5, 2018 By Jason Hobbs Leave a Comment

How I plan digital marketing campaigns. This unresearched thought experiment is to start sharing the litany of lessons I’ve learned over my past decade teaching myself digital marketing. My goal is to help you understand my strategic planning approach, which I’ve been honing in my digital lab for 3,101 days and counting.

The third example is for my local humane society in Fitzgerald, Georgia, aka Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Humane Society. Use my procedure to plan your own digital marketing efforts for your small business on your own or hire me to help.

Either way is in line with my mission to democratize online opportunity for people everywhere. If you have questions, ask them in the comments, email them to [email protected], or ask me in the live chat, which is available in the bottom right corner of every page on my site.

I love animals

I’ve always loved animals but even more so since Grandma and Gramps passed six weeks apart in late 2006. I brought Lizzie – the runt of the litter, spunky brindle female with papers- home just before Christmas, followed by Baxter -strapping fawn and white boy with papers- six weeks later.

Her name was Aki Hutto. All attitude, legs, and ears.
Her name was Aki Hutto. All attitude, legs, and ears.
The first time I visited the Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Humane Society was on a Saturday at my Mom’s behest. Mom’s rescue pup, Aki Hutto, had to be put down and then a matter of weeks later, I found myself darting through the rain to my car in the local Harveys (supermarket) parking lot only to encounter a waterlogged little white dog.

I invited the poor mutt into my car and out of the rain, and to my surprise, Lola kinda shrugged before hopping on in.

At that point, we were buddies for life in my mind.

My reasoning was that I’d let Mom take care of Lola, which would help ease the pain for both of us mourning Aki.

Mom let me know immediately that my thinking was in fact, wrong.

Mom even went so far as to order the little white mutt be surrendered to the humane society post-haste.

You can imagine my relief at the realization that the humane society was so full to capacity that they weren’t taking any new animals.

Oh, what a relief it is!

Needless to say, I presented this development to mom as incontrovertible proof that God wanted us, me and mom, to include Lola in our family.

Lola is still with mom and slums her nights away with me on the nights mom has to work as an RN at the local hospital.

Which is why example 3 of how I plan digital marketing campaigns, is my local humane society.
