So Brian Clark dropped the news yesterday.
We’ve already begun work on Rainmaker 3.0, a major new release that will feature automation, email, and interface workflow improvements. We’ll also be adding Zapier for third-party add-ons, and modularizing key areas of the Platform for easier integrations and quicker addition of new features. – BRIAN CLARK
What does this mean for you and me exactly?
Good stuff is coming. I am also increasingly excited at the prospects of future development of the platform.
Zapier integration is coming
Finally. Now your site can connect with a litany of applications.
For a variety of reasons. Depending on what access RMP allows Zapier in the first iteration of the feature add.
New automation is coming
This seems to portend of new triggers and new actions.
Hopefully tagging is added.
And they need to allow multiple triggers and/or actions in each Rainmaker Platform marketing automation formula.
Interface workflow improvements are coming
I really hope this means they are overhauling the way we interact with tags and tagging. It’s draconian currently.
Making it drastically simpler would drive loads more use of the tags and tagging.
Which currently is an afterthought if thought of at all.
Modularizing key areas of the platform is coming
I really hope this refers to the landing page builder and allowing import and export of landing pages AND landing page elements and styles.
I’ll Continue To Update As I Learn More
So if you have questions, comments or concerns about Rainmaker Platform 3.0, please share below. Or email them to me.
We’re still not any wiser today, 3 months later, are we? =)
I’m really looking forward to Rainmaker coming back on the market, and the new services plans + overall direction of the platform, to be revealed. The question’s been blowing in the wind for a bit too long now. I wanna see how their new partnership and plans look IRL.
Soon… Here’s hopin’
=)

I did find it useful. It was very cool for me to get feedback from Robert Bruce about what I was doing.
As for Clark’s European Vacation, I’ve seen some snark about it from folks, which I don’t understand or relate with.
I do hope you’re right and he’s returning with Rainmaking scrolls to share though 🙂
Nope. I do think Rainmaker Platform comes back in October 2017. Could be Halloween though. Who knows?
And I’m guessing Brian’s European Vacation will wrap before the launch.
I had the free site evaluation. Daisy delivered the report by call and Robert Bruce did the review.
My view on the new entity: IF Brian Clark and Robert Bruce and Daisy and Brian Hayes and any other Rainmaker Digital veterans are involved, which I think they have to be involved to best leverage the relationships with the Copyblogger and StudioPress communities, then it’s gonna sell like hotcakes.
And if the new entity isn’t crushing by 2020, I’ll be SHOCKED.
Hey Jason
Did you find your site evaluation useful then?
There’s an almost mythical aura surrounding Brian’s journey to Europe. May the content marketing messiah resurface soon, with the golden scrolls of Rainmaking ????
