Thank you for stopping by Jason Hobbs Digital! Be forewarned, as increasingly by the hour, conversational marketing is becoming my passion. Bordering on obsession.
I learned long ago that a two-way conversation best meets empowered consumers where they want. At the time and place of their choosing as a part of the customer experience they want.
I defined conversation in the last new blog post before this new media schedule kicks in.
My Customer:
- You were born before the digital revolution aka non-digital native
- You’re responsible for revenue/marketing budget for your 1-10 employee organization
- You’re ready to start making your brand more conversational, with some form of my help.
I believe marketing is a conversation.
The customer is in control of their buying experience, approaching your digital marketing strategy as a conversation accommodates the customer attention. When customers decide to pay attention to your business, make it worth their while.
And the next time your customer returns, remember where your conversation left off, so you can pick the conversation back up seamlessly.

I believe there are no rules in digital marketing, just people.
Closest relationship to the customer wins.
You must be able to get your customer’s attention and keep your customer’s attention. Keeping attention is the hard part.
Your conversation starts wherever you win someone’s attention.
Could be via a paid advertisement either online or offline. Could be from someone forwarding them an email. Could also come from a piece of your brand’s media being shared on a social network.
Regardless, as a non-digital native running a 1-10 person organization, a genuine two-way conversation is your best chance at keeping their attention long-term.
Need help getting your digital marketing off on the right foot?
Welcome to Jason Hobbs Digital. I don’t distinguish digital or any other type of marketing for your customers, rather I focus on employing conversational marketing to the specific perspective of each individual brand.
Because I believe successful marketing is a two-way conversation between business and customers.
Talk with your customers, not at your customers.
